Free Home Repairs for Hyde Park Residents Over 60
We are excited to announce we are completing major and essential repairs for five Hyde Park residents over the age of 60, free of charge! The services will include but not be limited to: HVAC, Masonry, Electric, Plumbing, and Roofing. The services will be executed by minority contractors with the assistance of DB4E young people.
We are inspired by the residents of Hyde Park and we believe in the future of this community. We are intentional about building equity in the homes of existing Hyde Park residents while rehabbing vacant nuisance properties to sell to first time homeowners. This is a very exciting project for our team because we will be aligning our young people with the elders of the neighborhood to create a safer, more sustainable environment while transforming the community.

Progress Report
Our team of young people and minority contractors have been hard at work this summer providing 5 Hyde Park elderly residents with free essential home renovations, including the removal & replacement of a falling deck and the replacement of a rotten bathroom floor & bathroom remodel.
